Refunds and cancellation

Refund and cancellation requests, explained clearly.

Quote Portals setup includes configuration, testing, and handoff preparation. Refund eligibility depends on the work completed when the request is received.

Setup refund stages

These stages help avoid confusion about what has already been delivered.

Before internal testing is complete

If payment was made by mistake or the business changes its mind before Quote Portals finishes the internal test and prepares the portal for handoff, request a refund review as soon as possible. Setup payments can usually be refunded at this stage.

After internal testing is complete

The setup deposit is considered earned once the first portal has been built, internally tested, and prepared for handoff. If a full setup payment was made and the business does not launch, we can review whether unused launch balance should be refunded.

After launch approval

Once the owner approves the portal, activates monthly support, or starts using the quote link with real customers, setup is considered delivered and earned.

If we cannot deliver

If Quote Portals cannot provide a working first portal because of an issue on our side, we will try to fix it first. If we cannot reasonably fix it, we will review a fair partial or full refund.

How to request a refund review

Send the request to hello@quoteportals.com. We review the stage of setup, payment record, and what has already been delivered before approving or declining a refund.

Business name
Owner name and best contact email
Stripe checkout email, if different
Approximate payment date
Whether the portal has already been reviewed or launched
A short reason for the refund request
Approved refunds are sent back to the original payment method through Stripe. Banks and card issuers control when the credit appears on the customer statement.

Cancellation and returning later

Cancellation should feel simple, but it should not leave the portal in a confusing half-active state.

The portal may be moved back to test mode, deactivated, or closed depending on the stage of setup.

If the monthly subscription is canceled, the portal remains available through the current paid period unless there is non-payment, abuse, fraud, or security risk.

After cancellation or deactivation, the business can contact support to request a basic data export or deletion review.

If the business comes back later, a new setup payment may be required if the portal needs to be rebuilt, refreshed, or relaunched.

Questions about a payment?

Email Quote Portals so we can review the payment, setup stage, and portal status, then respond with the available next steps.
